Fans of Call Lane’s Fire will hear today if the controversial club has a future.

It was revealed last week that Police had applied to Leeds City Council to review Fire’s license after a surge of crime within its premises.

Police say stabbings, drug taking and robberies are all on the up at the club which had its license reviewed in 2009 on the condition that things improved inside.

Last year major Leeds nightclub Gatecrasher had its license revoked in similar circumstances after a spate of violent incidents.

The Tab was unable to contact Fire for comment.
