Missing teenager Millie Gibbons found safe

Millie Gibbons, the teenager who went missing last week after boarding a train to Glasgow, has been found safe in London.

17-year-old Millie had last been seen by her family at her home in Uddingston on Friday October 2nd at around 3am.

She was then formally identified at Uddington train station on CCTV where she bought a train ticket for the 9.30am train to Glasgow Central.

The police issued a public appeal and a helicopter search to try and find the missing teenager.

However, on Saturday evening the police reported Millie had been found safe and well in London.
