Edinburgh Uni live COVID cases rise to 324

It’s an increase of 56 cases in three days

As of October 8th, Edinburgh University reported 324 live COVID cases amongst staff and students.

This marks an increase of 56 cases in the three days since The Tab Edinburgh last reported the number of Edinburgh University COVID cases.

Edinburgh is still asking students to report both a positive test and self-isolation to the University.

These numbers only reflect the cases that have been reported to the Uni.

Nicola Sturgeon announced yesterday tighter restrictions for Scotland and the central belt.

In an effort to slow the spread of the virus, pubs and restaurants are to be closed for the next two weeks amongst other measures.

Students and staff can submit COVID related enquiries through this webform and can tell the University if they are self-isolating through this form.
