Princes Street McDonald’s will no longer be open 24 hours a day from this Tuesday

You’re just gonna have to make do with Scotmid

The McDonald's on Princes Street will no longer be open 24 hours a day from November 21.

It will now close at 2am from Sunday to Thursday and at 3am on Friday and Saturday nights, meaning that you're going to have to leave the club early if you want that box of McNuggets.

Although the chain will only be closed for a few hours (it will reopen at 5am each morning), this is sure to affect many George Street club-goers's night out routines.

A McDonald’s spokesman told Edinburgh Evening News: “Due to licensing changes introduced by Edinburgh City Council the Princes Street restaurant will no longer operate 24/7. This will come into effect from November 21 when we will close at 2am on weekdays and 3am on weekends.”

Heartbreaking.
