Edinburgh is the fifth best uni in the WORLD for Linguistics
We’re also in the top ten for Veterinary Science
Yas RanaIn the latest QS World University Rankings, Edinburgh has placed in the top ten for two subjects.
We came fifth in the world for Linguistics, which had us ahead of Oxford as the second highest placed UK university. The other subject that Edinburgh ranked in the top ten for was Veterinary Science, where we were ranked eighth, behind only Cambridge, Liverpool and the Royal Veterinary College in the UK.
Edinburgh was one of the best represented British universities in the rankings, finishing in the top 50 in a whole host of subjects. Other highlight results came from Medicine in 23rd, Education in 25th, Geography in 14th, Law in 24th, Modern Languages in 21st, Sports Science in 13th and Theology in 19th.
