We've all been there. Waking up late because you slept through your alarm, or snoozed it 20 times, and then panicking because you have a really important seminar to go to which starts in less than 15 minutes. Panic stations.

Do you rush to get ready, or just not bother and slump back into bed? Well luckily for you, we've tried and tested these life changing tips to help you look fresh in minutes.

Wash your hair the night before

This is probably the biggest time consumer for us girls because of our long locks. Washing your hair in the mornings seems almost impossible because it means you have to lose that extra half an hour of sleep. Solution? Do it the night before, if you know you need a good hair day. Then, all you need to do is style it however you like in the morning and you are good to go.

Set up your work station the night before

Gather all your essential tools, sprays and make up that you might need when getting ready in the morning and lay them all out on your desk, so you are ready to go when the sun comes up. That's if you don't want to look like a zombie when you head to campus. If you dont particularly care, kudos to you my friend. We're all sleep deprived, we're all students, we understand.

Choose your outfit beforehand

This might seem like a task in itself because Mother Nature is so unpredictable. But honestly though, you will thank yourself in the morning when all you have to do is get up, brush your teeth, put your clothes on and go. Put your outfit on THAT chair so that it's right there ready for you when you wake up.

Quick and easy breakfast

It's the most important meal of the day, but if you don't have time to make yourself something amazing like pancakes, at least grab some fruit or pour yourself a quick bowl of cereal. You need to eat and you'll feel much better about yourself when you are sitting in that 9am knowing you've eaten and don't have to worry about your stomach rumbling with 300 people around you to hear it. Trust me.
