The people have spoken
Kris BurnettLast week, we asked you to vote for your favourite pub in Selly Oak. Finally, we can reveal the results of the Tab’s Battle of the Pubs.
In last place, taking just 9.47 per cent of the vote is Urban Village, which was just pipped by The Country Girl, which took 11.2 per cent of the vote.
In third place is The Soak, taking 19.88% of the vote, narrowly beaten by the Bristol Pear, which took 19.99 per cent.
Our clear winner is the Goose, with a whopping 39.45 per cent of the vote. With cheap food, cheap drinks, friendly locals and a huge smoking area, it’s not hard to see why.
