Drinks 2 Go Bottle Shop is the best new coffee place in Selly

As if Drinks 2 Go wasn’t good enough already, they’ve recently expanded, and opened up a brand new coffee shop next door.

The Tab decided to test it out, and it’s definitely onto a winner.

The atmosphere inside is really relaxed, with friendly staff and a fresh interior. While they do play music inside, it’s not completely rammed, so it’s quiet enough that you can sit down and have a chat with a mate, or even get some work done.

They have a really wide variety of hot drinks available, including various teas and coffees, hot chocolate flavours like bounty, peanut butter (which is pretty amazing), and even a Ferrero rocher mocha. They also do cold drinks and a small selection of cakes and snacks.

After they’ve finished fully setting up, they’ll also be selling Craft beers and ales.

Price-wise, it’s good value, and you can get a decent sized coffee for about £2.50 at the most, instead of being rinsed by somewhere like Costa or Starbucks on campus.

It’s definitely worth popping in, if not for the amazing hot chocolate, but because anything is better than spending half your life in a queue for the Starbucks in Muirhead.
