We asked drunk people in Box what they thought of Donald Trump

It’s scary to think, but in less than a month Donald Trump has the chance to be president. In America he is both loved and loathed and as talked about as any man in our time. But when it comes to the students of Belfast, what do they think of him? Here at The Tab we decided to get their opinions. We went to BOX nightclub and asked students what they thought of The Donald.

Ethan Burns, Queens University Belfast

Ethan came so prepared he brought his own pen

“He is sexist, he has no morals and is highly disrespectful. He is brainwashed and has no idea what he is doing. He does not understand today’s society and never will.”

Olivia McVeigh, Ulster University

“Speaking from a girl’s point of view, it is appalling how a man in power would speak in such a disrespectful way about women, especially in this day and age.”

“Awful,” and someone who “brags about sexual assault shouldn’t be allowed to run for president. Dangerous for ethnic minorities in the U.S”, a “pathological liar,” and that he could “potentially cause World War 3.” Solid

“Donald Trump is an uneducated twat. He is old fashioned and the fact that he bragged of sexual assault is totally out of order. Personally as a woman, I feel offended by his remarks and believe that he has demoralized, women as a whole. Mrs Clinton was the lesser of two evils.”

Sarah O’ Callaghan, Ulster University

Sarah echoed the opinion of her fellow female students saying that Mr Trump is most definitely sexist, his comment of “Grab her by the p*ssy,” was “border line rape” and that  “he’s rich and he thinks he can do anything he wants.”

From the interviews we ran with the drunken political experts at Box it seems that Belfast is no fan of Donald Trump. And we can’t really blame them. We at the Tab wouldn’t trust The Donald to lead an after school book club never mind the free world. What do you think though? Do you think these views represent the average American?
