Belfast is one of the best unis for student experience in the country

Almost 90 per cent per cent of students enjoyed the life

Belfast has been ranked as the university with the eighth-best student experience, with 87.3 per cent of students saying that they were enjoying their time at the university. This means that just under thirteen per cent of Belfast students weren’t satisfied with the uni experience.

The rankings were part of the The Times’ Good University Guide, which rates universities according to their quality of research and teaching, graduate prospects and entry standards. Student experience includes all aspects of university life, such as academic, social, welfare and the support offered.

It is measured based on the percentage of positive responses that students gave according to the 2016 National Student Survey. The University of Buckingham had the highest student experience, with 91.5 per cent being positive responses. LSE was in last place with only 73.1 per cent of students saying they enjoyed student life.
