There was another editing error on MAFS UK last night so basically nothing is real

I am yet again here to point out a petty editing error during MAFS UK 2024 that proves a lot of the show is set up, and we never really see conversations and moments play out how they truly did. Last night was the second episode in which the couples were on their retreat, and let’s just say their time away as a group has been anything but relaxing.

Last night, the group split up into all the grooms and all the brides. They were then set some awkward home truth questions to answer about each other. The girls got together in a cosy cabin area and got stuck into the drama, whilst the boys definitely drew the short straw and were shoved on some hay bales in a random field.

During the chat, the boys were asked which bride they thought was sexiest, and if they would stick or twist with their current partner, given the option to. Whilst this was happening, some of the grooms cosied up in blankets to warm themselves up. But unproblematic king Luke grabbed himself a plate of cheese and biscuits, and sat back whilst the other grooms dug their graves with their comments about their other halves.

However, whilst the chat unfolded, Luke being an unbothered king actually ended up as being proof the conversation was chopped up and edited heavily, to change how we saw what was going on as viewers.

Constantly, Luke went from having a plate of food, to not, to having one again, to not and so on. These changes were happening simultaneously, less than seconds apart each time.

So basically what this proves is that facial expressions reacting to the questions and answers given in the task didn’t match up the actual reactions given in real time, and some of the responses could have been to different questions. As an audience, this chat seemed pretty shocking, but who knows what the boys actually said and how they answered each bit.

I need answers!
