A rundown of all the messy Selling Sunset cast drama that’s happened off camera this season

This is genuinely so chaotic

This season of Selling Sunset undoubtedly had its fair share of messy cast drama, but it turns out even more has happened off camera.

From absolute bombshells being dropped about the truth behind *those* cheating allegations, to shady statements about former besties it seems nobody is safe from the post show drama. So, here’s a rundown of all the messy Selling Sunset cast drama that’s happened off camera this season. And strap in because it’s a bumpy ride!

Mary claims what Nicole said about Emma wasn’t even the ‘real story’

Yeah, so it turns out that the whole saga has apparently been warped a lot from what originally even happened, according to Mary.

In case you need a refresher, Nicole basically started a rumour that Emma was seeing a married man but according to Mary: “Honestly, that’s not even the actual story of what she was actually told. So that makes it even more sad. It’s just a big old mess. That’s not what was said.”

At this point, a big old mess is absolutely the best way to sum up all the off camera cast drama that’s happened on this season of Selling Sunset.

Bre admitted she will ‘never be cool’ with Chelsea

It’s to be expected that a lot of the cast friendships are pretty up in the air after everything that went down, with Bre confirming she and Chelsea are absolutely not going to skip off into the sunset holding hands anytime soon.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan, she admitted: “I’ll never be cool with Chelsea. I’ve tried that twice now, and you know, we actually had discussed everything, and I thought we were moving forward. And then, you know, this situation happens, and she takes three steps back. She’s just being Chelsea, so I’m gonna just let her do her and I just keep mine on my own.

“We’re done, we’ve been done. I honestly was not in a good place with her after last season… I saw season seven and I was like, ‘Wow, you really were doing all of this behind my back.’ We were talking about doing TikToks together, and coming out, being cool, and just all the things that we had going on… It was definitely hurtful, but not unexpected, so I kind of just know what it is.”

And whilst she thinks that her friendship with Chrishell could still be salvageable, adding: “I don’t have a problem with Chrishell at all, I just haven’t spoken to her, it seems Chrishell is on a very different page to her.

During a Q&A on Snapchat, Chrishell was asked: “Where do you and Bre stand today? Are you on speaking terms?” Chrishell replied: “This one has some nuance to it and is a little painful to answer.

“There was an element where I could see that Bre was trying to do the right thing and we are on a reality show, so there are pieces of the puzzle that I could understand. Unfortunately, I don’t have a friendship with her right now and I’m just really disappointed in that whole situation.”

Bre claims literally everyone in the cast knew about cheating months before filming?!

In an interview with ET Bre claims everyone found out about the news in December and then just pretended to have never heard about it when filming started in March.

The interviewer asks Bre: “When you say you told them in December, what did you tell them in December?” Bre replied: “This information that her husband was cheating on her.”

He clarifies: “So before you filmed this scene in March you knew?” Bre says: “Yes, I knew and they knew, all of them.” She continued by saying that she told Chelsea the news off-camera in December and explained that the scene we saw with Chelsea was just them rehashing what she already knew.

In a later interview with Cosmopolitan, Bre added: “They’ve known. They can sit here and paint whatever narrative helps them to not be attacked online, or however it is that they want to be perceived. But they were all very aware of this scene before it happened. They were aware of everything that was going on.

“A lot of people say that our show is scripted and it truly is not. But when it came to such a sensitive subject, I wasn’t gonna blindside [Chelsea], so I made that very clear. If you really watch it, and you really pay attention, you see many times that I said, ‘Y’all knew, you guys all knew this.’ So make me the bad guy all you want, but I’m just telling you what I heard.

“All three [of them] know very well that none of them were blindsided on camera. So this whole narrative is very comedic to me. I think it’s quite ridiculous.”

Bre being forced to say Alanna was ‘a latte’ by producers

I think we all thought that Bre wasn’t the biggest fan of newcomer Alanna after *that* latte comment, but apparently she only said it because the producers asked her to. In the TikTok comments on viewer commented: “I really like Alanna please be nice to her.”

Bre responded: “She’s very sweet I was never mean. Producers asked me to describe her as a latte. It was not that serious everyone’s blowing it out of proportion.” Well, there you have it.

Chrishell thinks Chelsea’s ex husband looks like a ‘cartoon villain’

In probably one of the most iconic cast comments ever left on Instagram, Chrishell admitted that she thinks Chelsea’s ex husband “looks like a cartoon villain.” And to be honest she’s not wrong.

Mary gave an update on whether next season will be going ahead

There have been rumours swirling about what will even happen in the next season of Selling Sunset, and Mary gave a subtle hint as to the show’s future.

During an interview with Express, she confessed: “Season nine is on the cards. I don’t know if I’m officially allowed to say that but if we were doing it then we’ll be starting filming in the next month or so. Season eight was absolutely insane and very dramatic. The drama is still going on and we don’t even have cameras rolling so it’s been very, very interesting.”

If there is one thing we’re certain to get more of, it’s plenty of off camera cast drama to last us through to the next season!
