Billie Eilish’s brother Finneas kicks off over TikTok calling Billie’s Guess verse ‘predatory’

‘I had to watch when you were all forcing her to label and out herself’

Finneas, the brother of Billie Eilish and her chief collaborator, has kicked off defending her from a TikTok accusing her new verse on the remix of Guess with Charli XCX of being “predatory”.

Charli XCX and Billie Eilish released Guess at the tail end of Thursday, with a music video. Billie’s verse goes as follows:

Don’t have to guess the color of your underwear
Already know what you’ve got goin’ on down there
It’s that lacy black pair with the little bows
The ones I picked out for you in Tokyo
I saw them when you sat down, they were peekin’ out
I’m gonna tell you right now, they’re all I’m thinkin’ about

There is then a lyric where Billie rounds off the chorus saying “Charli likes boys but she knows I’d hit it.”

A TikTok was posted over the weekend where a creator accused Billie Eilish’s verse of being “predatory”. The text on the TikTok said “Billie’s verse on Guess is high-key predatory, but y’all blinded by her usual queerbaiting for commercial gain. Ever since the Lost Cause controversy, she’s been reducing girls to mere objects all in an effort to convince the masses that she’s actually into them. Charli is 32 and engaged.”

Finneas defended Billie Eilish commenting straight back on the Guess verse accusations with “What a take you little clown. I got to watch the entire internet slam my sister for queerbaiting for an entire year when in reality, you were all forcing her to label and out herself.”

Thank god for Finneas, who has rightly referenced the era in 2021 where Billie Eilish was said to be queerbaiting for her sapphic video for Lost Cause.

Billie Eilish and Charli XCX are currently RIGHTLY on track to debut at number one on the UK chart for the Guess remix.
