TWO Love Island 2024 couples have already split! Plus Joey shades Grace AGAIN

Mimii says Joey secretly apologised to her off camera

Mimii has revealed Joey secretly apologised to her when they were in the villa, but it happened off camera. There was a lot of drama between Mimii and Josh and Joey and Sean, with the latter seeming to always have an opinion on the former. This was quashed when Joey bought flowers for Mimii (flowers that it’s since been confirmed were set up by the producers, not Joey).

However, Mimii has said Joey did apologise to her. Speaking on Lorraine, Mimii said: “In the environment we were in it was quite intense. In there everyone knows everyone’s business. I’m glad it was left in the villa and he apologised and I’m not one to keep holding a grudge or anything like that. We wish each other well.”

The Islanders have done an interview sharing the names they’ll be saving each other under in their phones, and it’s pretty cringe. I always forget that by getting to know one another in the villa, they won’t even have the basics like each others’ numbers.

Anyway, Matilda said she’s saving Sean as “Seany” and Sean is saving her as “Matilda slice” with a watermelon emoji. Ciaran and Nicole went a bit more, shall we say, formal. Nicole just wants to save him as “Ciaran” and Ciaran is saving Nicole by her full name, Nicole Samuel. Ok then!

Winners Mimii and Josh went a bit mushy, with Mimii saying she’s going to save Josh as “JoJo” with a heart emoji, and Josh is saving Mimii as “Mimii” with not just any heart emoji, but the fire heart. Then, Ayo and Jess went cutsie too. Jess is saving Ayo as “Aaaaayyoooo” (fun), whilst he said “Baby”. Vom!

Two Love Island 2024 couples have already split up!

It’s not even been a week, but already two Love Island 2024 couples have split up. First it was dumped Islanders Trey and Ellie, and he’s been pictured holding hands and on a date with someone who was rumoured to be on the show this year. He was pictured with AJ Pritchard’s ex, Abbie Quinnen, who just weeks ago was rumoured as someone Love Island 2024 wanted to enter the villa.

An insider told The Sun: “Trey and Abbie have been texting non stop. When he was down in London this week he took Abbie out for their first date. They were spotted holding hands and later attended their first red carpet together, a screening of Transformers One. It’s early days but there’s a definite spark.”

Shortly after this, Hugo confirmed he and Jess are no longer together after the villa. He said: “Just to let everyone know Jess and I agreed to go our separate ways after the final in Majorca. I’m hoping we can still be friends as we had a great experience together, she’s a lovely girl and I wish her all the best.”

We all know the real tea, as just this week he was spotted snogging ex Islander Charlotte Sumner at the National Reality TV Awards.

An onlooker told The Sun: “Hugo and Charlotte could not keep their hands off each other all night. It was clear that they only had eyes for each other and didn’t care who was watching as they enjoyed a slew of snogs on the dancefloor. They even found a quiet corner of the packed bar to have another passionate kiss – it made it pretty obvious that Hugo and Jess are very much over but she is still bound to be stunned to see he has moved on so quickly.”

It’s been reported Whitney and Lochan have broken up, after they had a huge row at the National Reality TV Awards, and have since unfollowed each other on Instagram. A guest at the awards told MailOnline: “Whitney and Lochan certainly didn’t look happy at the National Reality TV Awards last night.

“It was surprising to see, considering they were among their co-stars and are usually very laidback but it was clear they were in the middle of a huge row. They have been arguing a lot lately, with their romance hanging by a thread. Whitney has deleted recent pictures of her and Lochan too, with some friends saying there is no way back for them to have a long-lasting relationship.”

But, now everyone is confused and they’ve been accused of doing it all for the PR, because Whitney posted an Instagram carousel from the night and there’s a loved up pic of her and Lochan in it. Don’t play with us like this!

Josh hasn’t followed Reuben on Insta after the show!

Since the villa, it’s been revealed loads of the Islanders have refused to follow one another on Instagram. Beefy! But one that might hurt more than others is that after winning the show Josh hasn’t followed his best mate Reuben? Have we missed something? The two boys entered the villa together, and said they were really close, even calling each other best mates in the villa. I need an explanation?!

Joey has addressed knowing Grace since 2017 and it’s a bit shady

Whilst they were in the villa, Grace and Joey said they met on holiday and dated for six weeks, just before the show. However, a clip then resurfaced proving they actually met in 2017, when they were on Celebs Go Dating at the same time.

Now addressing meeting her much earlier than he said, Joey told The Sun: “Was that the first series? I think we might have bumped into each other at that mixer and said hello or something like that. But at the time, I was already talking to someone else. So I wasn’t interested at the time.

“Until I see her later on in life, which was in Ibiza, and she told me then that we’d met before on Celebs Go Dating. She was like, yeah, I came on Celebs Go Dating and blah, blah, blah. I didn’t remember.” Um, a bit peak but sure.

As he promised after the show, Joey has taken Jessy on their first date together. Posting on Instagram, they headed to Sheesh, a celeb and Islander hotspot in Chigwell.

He told The Sun this week: “We’re really happy. I can’t wait for us to just meet my friends, my family. Times ahead are looking really exciting.”
