A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is an iconic book adaptation that took US Netflix by storm today, and the cast are even cooler. The show follows the story of an unsolved murder in a small town, but it takes you on so many twists and turns that you end up pointing your finger at every single character at some point. A lot of the actors are having their breakthrough right now which is just the best, but a lot of them are familiar faces that you’ve definitely seen before. Here’s a rundown of their past roles:

Emma Myers – Pip Fitz-Amobi

You’ll definitely recognise star Emma Myers from Netflix’s hit show Wednesday, where she played Wednesday’s bestie Enid Sinclair. It looks like she’s taking Netflix by storm at the moment, having starred in Netflix’s original movie Family Switch which released just last year. She also has a feature in the new Minecraft movie coming out next year, so who knows what to expect from that.

Zain Iqbal – Ravi Singh

It’s very likely that you haven’t seen Zain anywhere yet – A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is his breakthrough show. His first role was in a niché movie titled All Crazy Random, but you probably haven’t heard of that. Wishing Zain all the best in his future career!

India Lillie Davies is another breakthrough star, making a minor appearance in season three of Bridgerton, where she filmed a rather heated scene with Colin. She’s also been in Dracula: The Original Living Vampire and Call The Midwife. Hopefully this role will do wonders for her!

Raiko Gohara – Zach Chen

You may remember Raiko from The Day of the Jackal which stars Eddie Redmayne. He was also in a West End production of Allegiance, which is already a pretty impressive lineup for a 21 year-old.

Asha Banks – Cara Ward

The 20 year-old actress began her career on the West End as a child star which is so cool. You might recognise her from The Magic Flute or Rebel Cheer Squad.

Jude Morgan-Collie – Connor Reynolds

Jude Morgan-Collie has had his fair share of famous film appearances despite being so young: You may well have seen him in Here We Go, Terminator: Dark Fate and Autopsy: The Last Hours. Henry Ashton – Max Hastings

Henry Ashton has had a few major acting slays: I can’t be the only one that thirsted over him in Amazon Prime’s My Lady Jane. He’s also been in Outlander which is really cool.

Carla Woodcock – Becca Bell

I could never forget Carla’s iconic appearance in Ackley Bridge! She played Marina Perry in the show’s fourth and fifth season, and has also been in Free Reign, Such Brave Girls and Tell Me Everything. She also has a whopping 118,000 followers on Instagram, so we might be seeing her in more very soon!

Matthew Baynton – Elliot Ward

Despite the Good Girl’s Guide cast being made up of mostly young people, this was an actor I couldn’t believe I recognised. You will DEFINITELY remember the iconic Matthew Baynton from everyone’s favourite childhood CBBC show, Horrible Histories. Don’t tell me your favourite song wasn’t Dick Turpin Highwayman growing up, because it definitely was.
