Rugby tours, festivals and pubs: Everything Ciaran gets up to outside the Love Island villa

Ciaran from Love Island 2024 is a war veteran. Look, I get it – he kissed Lucy and Emma, resulting in Nicole getting absolutely irate. But at the end of the day, this is Love Island and you can’t hate the player, only the game. His cheeky chap personality is hard not to love and at the end of the day, he’s still young. I’m not about to say “boys will be boys” but he’s literally a young lad having fun in the sun. So when he’s not beefing with Nicole or winding up the other Islanders, here’s a look inside the life of Ciaran from Love Island 2024.

The youngest contestant in the Love Island 2024 villa, Ciaran is only 21. He works as a surveyor in Pencoed, less than an hour’s drive from Nicole’s hometown of Aberdare.

He’s a hardcore rugby boy

Ciaran is a certified rugby boy, even suffering a rugby injury on the day he found out he would be going into the villa. Playing at Tondu RFC, he’s shared many photos of him looking rough and ready, mid tackle or posing with the boys after a big win. Thankfully he hasn’t shared any of the team’s antic after said wins, but I’m sure he’ll tell Nicole all about it in the villa and she’s gonna lap it right up.

Attending both Reading Festival and Saunders Fest in the past, Ciaran is a big fan of tunes and drinks in the sun (or rain, more likely in the UK) with his pals. He actually went to Reading when he was barely 19, so I can imagine he was big on the rugby chants there too.

Going on multiple trips away with his mates, Ciaran has toured both Tourquay and sunnier destinations on boys’ holidays. His trips actually look pretty wholesome, with photos of his gang swimming and chilling out together making his Instagram.

Travelling to all corners of the country, Ciaran has been out in Liverpool, Manchester, Cardiff and Bristol with his mates. When he’s not kicking an egg shaped ball around a field or cracking on with Nicole, it looks like he’s big on socialising and is always making mates down the pub. It might just be his fun-loving personality and his good group of mates, but he actually makes Wales look super fun.
