After coupling up with Ciaran all the way back on day five of Love Island 2024 Nicole is basically wifed up already and seems to be gripping onto the welshman for dear life. The pair recoupled after the antics of Casa Amor and are one of the strongest couples in the villa, but their airtime has only left us wanting to know more about Nicole and what she does when she’s not yapping in the villa. Here’s a look inside the life of Love Island’s Nicole.

Nicole Samuel is from Aberdare in Wales and promised to be one of this season’s “biggest personalities” in the villa. Describing herself as “pretty out there”, she intended to rock the boat and has definitely lived up to our expectations of being a big islander.

She works for her family’s business as an accounts manager, a far cry from the reality TV position she would no doubt thrive in following her performance on the show.

She’s a big party girl and loves a night out

Explaining that she’s been happily single for a while, Love Island 2024 Nicole explained that she’s loved going on girls’ holidays and having fun, whilst her friends text their boyfriends from the hotel room. She said: “I’ve been enjoying single life and the attention of different boys, it’s fun.

“I’ve enjoyed being able to go on holiday with the girls and not having to worry about someone back home. All the girls are there texting in their room and I’m out ’till four in the morning living my best life.”

Despite that, she claims she’s finally ready to settle down and find a proper relationship, only applying to go on Love Island after seeing the ad pop up on her phone.

Nicole was a world champion dancer

Admitting that her dream celebrity to enter the villa would be Channing Tatum, Nicole explained that she and Channing would get on as they are both street dancers. Apparently not a lot of people know this about her past, including that she actually became a world champion dancer back in 2011, before she was a teenager.

She said: “I became a world champion dancer in 2011 – not many people know that. I was a professional street dancer”.

Her dream man is a rugby boy

Despite most of us doing everything in out power to dodge them, rugby boys are actually a major green flag for Nicole. When asked what kind of man she’s looking for, Nicole described her dream catch as someone who is “tall, dark and handsome” but who also enjoys playing some rugby. She’s brave – someone has to snap them up though, right?

She added that her loved ones would describe her as “cheeky, wild and really chatty” so she’s probably cut out to survive one in all honestly.

Sharing photos on Instagram of her adventures with her dog, Nicole seems to live alone with the pooch. The pair adventure together on walks, with Nicole announcing that she spent her first Christmas in her own house with her dog back in 2021.
