Queer Eye Bobby Berk spin-off show

You guys, Bobby Berk is getting his own spin-off show after leaving Queer Eye

I’m actually so excited!

If, like me, you feel like Bobby Berk practically carries the Queer Eye transformations all by himself, then you were also devastated by the news that he’s leaving the Netflix show. But all is not lost, as it looks like we’ll have more Bobby Berk back on our screens before too long, as he’s announced that he’s going to be getting his own spin-off show separate from Queer Eye.

Bobby’s departure from the Netflix show has been surrounded by a lot of drama, as it’s been reported that he was “asked to leave,” after the rest of the cast “began to resent him.” Still, he’s living his best post-Queer Eye life after he revealed on his TikTok that a spin-off show was coming.

In the TikTok Bobby included the words, “Bobby Berk needs his own show!” alongside the audio “What can I say?” He included the caption: “I’ve heard you, and it’s happening.” I’ve actually never been so excited for something in my whole life.

I’ve heard you, and it’s happening😘 #queereye #fyp #viral #bignews

Could some cast members from Queer Eye be appearing on Bobby’s new show? Given the relationship he has with some of them, it seems unlikely, as Bobby recently unfollowed both Tan and Antoni on Instagram. Whilst Antoni is still following Bobby, Tan has now also unfollowed him. Bobby does still follow Jonathan Van Ness and Karamo, so maybe they’ll both make a surprise appearance.

Bobby also shared a story with Karamo on his Instagram a few days ago, which would seem to confirm that the beef is between Bobby, Tan and Antoni. Fans on Reddit also pointed out that Antoni only invited Tan and Jonathan Van Ness to his engagement party, further fuelling rumours of a major fallout between the Queer Eye cast members.

Bobby’s issues with the cast led to them “resenting him” after he was “asked to leave” Queer Eye. A source claimed that Bobby Berk was actually “asked to leave” Queer Eye after issues with the rest of the cast, which resulted in them “resenting him.”

The source said: “There were many challenges with scheduling and there was a loss of interest from Bobby filming the show. The network and the cast thought it was time to bring in fresh blood. His heart was not in it and the rest of the cast started to resent him because of that.”

Bobby Berk announced his decision to leave Queer Eye in a lengthy and emotional Instagram post. He wrote: “To the Queer Eye Community who have become family to me.

“The love that I have received from you all over the last six years has been absolutely surreal. You have tuned in and been dedicated fans and together we were able to share the healing powers of design. I learned from you all about kindness, love and acceptance and that has changed my life for the better.

“The way you have embraced me and accepted me for who I am is something that l will truly carry with me for the rest of my life.  Throughout these years, you, the die-hard fans of Queer Eye, have all shared so many stories with me about how the show has touched your lives and I could not be more grateful to each and every one of you for being brave enough to share your experiences.

“To all our wonderful, loving, amazing, and brave heroes there is so much I want to say, and so much gratitude I want to express to you all for letting me into your homes and hearts. It’s all because of you that I’ve kept going all these years and each and every one of you has changed me for the better.

“I’m so very proud of all of you! Being able to help guide you to find the best version of yourselves is something I never took for granted and never will.

“It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that season eight will be my final season on Queer Eye. It’s not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one. Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not. You will be seeing more of me very soon.”

Tan is the only member of the Fab Five who hasn’t commented on Bobby’s leaving post. Karamo commented: “@bobby we are #ForeverTheFab5 | no matter what. I’m about to be a Netflix’s door & e-mails telling them you can’t leave! Who is coming with me? I love you!”

Jonathan Van Ness commented three love hearts on the post whilst Antoni replied: “#foreverthefab5 indeed, and don’t forget it.”

I feel like Bobby Berk is actually going to blow us away with what he’s going to design on his spin-off show, I can’t wait to see how he’s progressed since leaving Queer Eye!
