We have an OFFICIAL start date for Love Island 2019!!!
THIS IS NOT A DRILL
PSA: Love Island 2019 starts in TWO WEEKS. I repeat, Love Island 2019 starts in TWO. WEEKS. From the day the ITV2 show finished last year, we've been waiting for the Love Island 2019 start date, and now we finally have an OFFICIAL date for when the new series starts.
Love Island host Caroline Flack revealed a HUGE spoiler on her Instagram story about the official Love Island 2019 start date. She said she had just done a huge session at the gym with her personal trainer, because there's only "three weeks" until the show prep starts. She said: "Making me do weights that I should not be lifting but he says we only have three weeks before Love Island starts – or for Love Island prep – so we've got to work hard."
So when is the Love Island 2019 start date?
Last year, Love Island 2018 started on Monday 4th June, and this year it is said to be on our screens from the start of June. The official start date of Love Island series five has been confirmed by ITV2 as Monday 3rd June 2019.
This means there is just four weeks to wait until the long hot summer of Love Island begins!!
There is already lots of gossip surrounding Love Island 2019. The list of rumoured contestants is coming in thick and fast, and Rochelle Humes' sister Soph Piper is apparently "in advance talks" with producers about appearing in the line-up.
