The most out-there outfits that celebrities dared wear to the 2026 Emmy Awards

The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony took place on 14th September… but who cares which actors got which trophies? Let’s judge all their outfits instead. Here are the most out-there and surprising outfits from the 2026 Emmy Awards. I don’t know how to feel about most of these.

The Abbott Elementary star looks great. This dress, from Christian Cowan Spring/Summer 2027, does not.

I feel like the dress could be a vibe if the fabric had been really played with. But the tearing is quite subtle, and the most noticeable rip is down the front. If I saw somebody walk down the street in this, I wouldn’t assume it was a high fashion look from an awards show. I’d worry somebody had actually ripped the dress.
