Female reality TV stars whose nudes leaked, and the one who responded: ‘We’ve all got a v*brator’

Becoming a celebrity comes with its own issues, especially for women, and one of those cons is undoubtedly the leaking of nudes, private videos, and s*x tapes. 

When talking about celebrity nude leaks, “The Fappening” of 2014 immediately jumps to mind. Hackers collected and distributed hundreds of private images and videos from names like Jennifer Lawrence, Gabrielle Union, and Lucy Hale.  

But it’s not just the Hollywood legends who have experienced such a horrible violations; in fact, reality TV stars are often the most common victims. 

Zara McDermott

Love Island’s Zara McDermott had her private pictures shared not once, but twice. The first was at the age of 14, when she sent pictures to a boy she liked in a bid to improve her social standing. Again, it happened in 2021 after she appeared on Love Island, and she wasn’t aware until she exited the villa. 

“I can’t even tell you the feeling, feeling like your parents are ashamed of you,” Zara said in her powerful documentary about revenge p*rn. “How will they look at me the same ever again? It was so embarrassing. I just wanted to die.”

Blac Chyna

Blac Chyna has been on countless reality TV shows over the years, from Love & Hip Hop to Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Her nude leak came in 2017, when ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian posted them online. 

In response, the TV star said she felt “devastated” and “betrayed” by her ex-fiancé, and she sued him. In 2022, they settled out of court for an undisclosed amount. 

Georgia Harrison

Another Love Islander, and proboably the most famous case on this list, was Georgia Harrison. In 2020, her ex-boyfriend, disgraced TV star Stephen Bear, released their s*x tape on his OnlyFans. It was recorded and posted without Georgia’s consent, and she took him to court. 

Recalling the trial, where people looked at stills of the videos with her in the room, she said: “I was in a private garden in a private moment that I thought was between me and one other person. To know people have seen it is hard. To see people seeing it while they can see you is harder.”

Stephen Bear ultimately served 10 months in jail, and though he was released in 2024, he’s now back behind bars after breaching the restraining order. 

Though obviously painful for Georgia, she’s since used that pain to champion and support other victims of sexual abuse. 

Tulisa Contostavlos

Though not *technically* a reality TV star, Tulisa has been on enough of them to warrant her place on this list. 

Her leak, which was a s*x tape, was leaked online as she was a judge on The X-Factor in 2012. In a YouTube video, she said it was leaked by “someone that I loved, that I trusted, that meant the world to me, that I feel deeply betrayed by.”

Kim Kardashian is the subject of the most famous leak of all time, and that’s a straight-up fact. It featured her and then-boyfriend Ray J, and it was widely distributed by both traditional sources and social media. 

Earlier this year, Ray J referenced popular conspiracy theories as he accused Kris Jenner and Kim K of leaking the tape on purpose to benefit the latter’s career. They sued in response, and legal proceedings are still ongoing. 

Jessica Shears

Jessica Shears, one of the few Love Island successes after her marriage to Dom Lever, was the subject of a s*x tape leak with her ex-boyfriend, Rogan O’Connor. 

It was uploaded to P*rnhub whilst she was on the show, and she said in response: “I don’t want to see what is out there. Some of my exes have taken it upon themselves to do this. Everything that is out there is old news. I am not going to dwell on it.”

Paris Hilton

The early 2000s were rough for Paris Hilton, and amidst paparazzi stalking, she had a s*x tape with a boyfriend leaked online. She was just 19 at the time. 

“There were no laws at the time to protect me,” she recalled earlier this year. “There weren’t even words for what had been done to me. The internet was still new, and so was the cruelty that came with it.”

Over 20 years later, Paris has used the horrible time in her life to effect real change. She supported the DEFIANCE Act earlier this year, and gave a speech on Capitol Hill about the emergence of AI-generated deepfakes.  

Domenica Calarco

Unlike most of the other inclusions on this list, Domenica Calarco’s nude leak actually happened on MAFS Australia. It was during a dinner party when it came out that Olivia had shared images from Dom’s OnlyFans amongst the wider group. 

“I think it’s disgusting. I think it’s disgraceful,” Dom said after the show. “Sourcing an image and then circulating it to a group of people, that to me shows intent and malice.”

Megan Barton-Hanson

Though you might be familiar with Megan Barton-Hanson’s foray into the world of OnlyFans, where she’s made a KILLING, you might have forgotten the moment her spicy video was posted online. 

Her response was: “I’m going to try and get it taken down. But I think once people have seen it, they’ve seen it and we’ve all got a vibrator… Let a girl live.”
