You know the one — a young, ridiculously good-looking firefighter steps out of his truck in the pouring rain, the crowd of girls around him absolutely lose their minds, cheering and screaming as he takes off his jacket and gets his gear ready. So who actually is that TikTok viral sexy firefighter?

For some context, the incident took place at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. The firefighter was responding to what turned out to be a minor fire at one of the student dorms. The video, posted by a student, has since racked up over 22 million views and 14 thousand comments, and TikTok has done what TikTok does best: Locate the mystery man.

Meet Bransen Cosgrove, a 25-year-old trainee at the Phoenix Fire Academy. Naturally, the internet wasted no time in tracking down his socials, where he’s now gained thousands of followers, though most people agree none of his coworkers are quite on his level. The comments under the viral video are absolutely feral: “I am suddenly on fire and in need of a firefighter,” one person wrote.

Another added: “Hate a man that knows he’s fine, but damn, that’s a fine man.”

Bransen has since responded to his newfound fame in a TikTok video, saying: “I’ve seen that video that went viral of me getting off the fire truck, and now I have this new following. Hi guys.”

Referring to the comment section chaos, he added: “You guys definitely took it to an insane level, but uh… yeah, hi.”

In a Q&A video with his sister, she opened by saying, “So apparently my brother’s famous now, and I really want a sister-in-law.”
