The Inbetweeners reboot is coming! Here’s who’s richest in the cast all these years later
One is making 10 grand a week, so they’re really reuniting for the love of the game
The Inbetweeners is officially coming back next year for a reboot series, and I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking the work dried up fast so they all need to come back to the thing that made them so successful in the first place. Well, they actually might be doing it purely because of a deep love for the show and its legacy – because if you want to know who out of the main Inbetweeners cast is actually rhetorical richest before the reboot they’re all pretty tilled considering they’re not Hollywood actors. Looking at an estimation of their wealth and net worth based on the information that’s out there, here’s who’s richest out of the main four Inbetweeners cast members!
4. Joe Thomas – about 1.7 million
Joe Thomas, who plays Simon Cooper on the show, is estimated to be the least rich out of the core four. He’s got a production company but it isn’t as obvious with its figures as the others in the cast. He’s also not had quite as many acting roles as Simon Bird and Blake Harrison.
3. James Buckley – about 2 million
Whilst James Buckley has earned the least from his acting endeavours, he had a trick up his sleeve and has racked up a great fortune through Cameo. He made a MILLION on Cameo, just from little clips of himself. Which is crazy. He’s raked in 1.6 million across two years on Cameo and says it’s given him “financial freedom”.

He explained the benefits of Cameo and his net worth: “It was a godsend financially. But I never wanted to take the piss. I’m in the business of making people happy – I don’t want to rip people off.”
2. Simon Bird – between 4-8 million!
Simon Bird has a hefty estimated net worth of up to £8 million at the highest end of prediction. This is down to the fact he’s been in huge shows since (Friday Night Dinner ran for longer than The Inbetweeners) and he’s also been writing and directing and producing, too. Not just that but he has a firm called OPK Ltd that £2,461,871 in equity and paid £80,974 tax, which The Sun suggested had earnings of £426k in 2023.
1. Blake Harrison – … streets saying £18 million (but let’s calm down)
Okay, okay – I do not believe Celebrity Net Worth’s full estimation that it’s 18 million, but that’s what is being banded around. Despite the fact his firm isn’t in operation anymore, Blake Harrison is the most booked and busy actor of the lot.
Blake Harrison’s surprisingly hefty reported net worth probably comes down to the fact he’s barely stopped working since The Inbetweeners wrapped. While a few of his co-stars have kept a lower profile, Blake’s been everywhere. He’s been popping up in The Great, World on Fire, A Very English Scandal and ITV’s Kate & Koji. On top of that, he’s dipped his toes into writing, directing and voice acting, which all help keep the money flowing. Add in the ongoing royalties from The Inbetweeners and its two hit movies, and it’s not hard to see why his name gets linked with bigger numbers online – even if some of those “$18 million” claims are probably a bit of a stretch.
