Zoinks, Scoob! Ranking all the iconic Halloween pop culture collabs that just came to Fortnite
Terrifier, Wednesday, Scream and Doja Cat all in ONE update is wild
When Fortnitemares was spooking us last year, I thought we had peaked. It was giving wow. The gameplay was insane and we had big collabs with Leatherface and Billy the Puppet from the Saw franchise. What a time! But then, this year’s began to reveal itself and without even picking up my controller to play a match yet I am overwhelmed with the effort and size that’s gone into this update. The collabs are so fast and frequent that it’s overwhelming and it’s all characters people have wanted in Fortnite for YEARS. Without further ado and because I can’t think of anything else right now, here’s a ranking of all the Fortnite skins in Fortnitemares 2025.
9. R.E.P.O.
One of the horror gaming collabs of Fortnitemares 2025, the little characters have been stretched taller to match the Fortnite vibe – taking bottom of the ranking because seems more niche than some of the big hitters here.
8. Poppy Playtime
A horror game with a truly terrifying premise, makes complete sense to scare everyone into next month with a harrowing skin. We’ve not seen it in game yet, just the teasers.
7. The Black Phone
Thought this was a random one til I clocked the sequel is very soon coming out – and now I think it’s fun. Ethan Hawke is terrifying as The Grabber and I can’t wait to be equally as scared when he starts jumpscaring me and knocking me out of the match when he drops in the game.
6. Terrifier

I honestly am shocked that Fortnite is bringing Art the Clown to Fortnitemares 2025, and he’s just missing out on the top five of the ranking. Not because he’s unworthy or niche, but because the Terrifier films are SO violent I thought Epic would give it a wide birth. But Art is here and he’s going to claim everyone’s V-bucks I fear.
5. Wednesday
I did wonder why there was no Wednesday collab when it dropped on Netflix. Turns out Fortnite was busy COOKING and finally Jenna Ortega is in Fortnite as the iconic Addams family daughter. Love her. Wish she had a few edit styles out of her uniform but I’ll try and not moan.
4. Doja Cat

Yes we’re all up in arms Doja Cat isn’t the Festival artist, but I’m HYPED. She’s one of my favourite artists and she loves Fortnite so she really wants this Icon skin, which is nice. I love that there’s two music videos represented with her Fortnite skins and I love that she’s the mother of Fortnitemares 2025 – at the top of my personal ranking but trying to be objective.
3. Jason Voorhees

I’m not a Friday franchise stan, but it’s amazing seeing huge horror villains in the game and it’s in the top three because of how much Fortnitemares has leaned into the lore. There’s a Camp Crystal Lake inspired location, and a Jason NPC with a medallion and mythic. So fun!
2. Scooby-Doo

Oh hell yeah. The full gang. I was so worried what art style we’d get but I love the balance of old school with the Fortnite art style. I’m so buzzing everyone is here and how gorgeously and faithfully they’ve put Mystery Inc in the game. Seems they’ll be a part of gameplay too which is a blast.
1. Scream
GHOSTFACE ITEM IS SO PEAK 😭🔥 pic.twitter.com/yFlsWm60X5

Ghostface must be THEE most requested skin from pop culture ever at this point and every single Halloween people are wishing for him. Not only are we getting the Ghostface skin, but also gameplay with a phone booth where we can become Ghostface and use a phone to stalk players and slash at them too. Insane and just so creative – as a huge fan of the franchise this is just unreal.
