Love Island 2025 finished a long time ago now, but the Islanders are still trying to rinse their new-found fame for all it’s worth. You can’t really blame them for trying.

These days, Love Island isn’t a ticket to overnight fame like it once was. I know, let’s all whip out our tiny violins. Previously, even Islanders who had only been in a villa a few days could expect loads of Instagram followers and brand deals falling at their feet. Now, if you weren’t a finalist you have to really clutch at your time on the show with everything you’ve got. And that, the 2025 Islanders have done.

When an Islander does a regional club appearance, it’s going to be cringe. That’s just the way it is. Harrison and Lauren have been popping up in a few TikToks, mainly with Freshers who have spotted them doing meet and greet events at uni clubs. In one, Harrison and Lauren got right in on the dance floor with Freshers in Exeter, and were talking selfies with them.

“Is this the Love Island guy,” one person said in the comments. Maybe he’s not as famous as he thought. And not even recognising that Lauren is there too is a violation.

Emma literally tried to say Dejon was cheating on Meg… for no reason?

Emma literally attempted to break up Meg and Dejon this week, when she said she was “sitting on information that could ruin an entire relationship”. Shen then confirmed she meant she had information about Dejon, and it was claimed he had been flirty texting Alima, also from Love Island 2025.

Dejon then rubbished the whole thing, and said Emma had been making it all up. “The only person I’m exchanging flirty messages with is my girlfriend,” he said.

On TikTok, someone called Emma out as “so beggy and desperate” for making up the rumour. “Are you that bored that you have nothing better to do to try and say relevant,” they said. “If you have information that could undermine and ruin a relationship and you genuinely care for a woman’s feelings, why is this not being handled in private?”. Say! It! Louder!

Blu managed to be on the show twice, and still I can’t recall a single moment with him. His mum owned a sex shop? That’s all I’ve got. Well, somehow now he’s trying to claim he was the “villain” of the series. “The villain always gets the best seat,” he said in an Instagram post, where he’s got himself a cosy little deal with a car hire company. Sure thing.

Harrison is only relevant when people still bring up Toni, and she literally doesn’t care

On another of his club appearances, Harrison is still getting rinsed over Toni. A group on a night out made a TikTok with him, where they must have asked Harrison to clap. I’m going to assume he didn’t know that later the caption “clap if your type is American girls” was going to be added. They then tagged Toni. Brutal.

Ben (sort of) left the show with Andrada, but that all came to an abrupt end. Since then, it came out he was kissing a TOWIE star, and then he was linked to Alima. None of these have actually come to anything.

The Islanders all do sponsored posts across Instagram and TikTok, and that’s fine. They’re securing the bag. But Emma has done a gaming advert, and it’s all just a bit weird. In the video, a robotic clearly AI voice is meant to be her mum, asking her why she’s always on her phone. Emma replies that she’s on the game, then as deadpan as anything explains it’s “so much fun”. Convincing.

“I have been obsessed with Block Blast since leaving the villa,” she says. Ok sure, tell your expression that maybe? I wouldn’t give up the day job for acting any time soon.
