After what seemed like a never-ending summer, university life is finally kicking off again with the busiest week of the year: Freshers’ Week. Get ready for daily night outs, going to your welcome talks extremely hungover (if you can force yourself out of bed that is), and the same conversation starters with everyone you meet.

But one of the most important parts of this is finding the right society for you. Here is where you’re most likely to find like-minded people with similar interests and where some of your best friendships can form. Societies also offer such a nice break from your degree by giving you the opportunity to try things you love, all whilst going on some incredible socials.
