Ranking MAFS UK 2025 couples by how much the experts listened to what the cast wanted

Married at First Sight UK is known for many things, but I wouldn’t say it is known for the MAFS experts being particularly great at their job. How many times have we seen a bride go on the show saying she wants someone who wants to have kids only to get paired with a groom who’s got teenagers and wants no more? Very, very often. Now we’ve seen the entire OG cast of MAFS UK get married at the altar, and seen them weather a honeymoon together, let’s get all the 2025 couples ranked by who at this stage is proving that the experts actually listened to them and got a good match.

9. Anita and Paul

We’ve barely seen a crumb of their journey, but let’s face it: We’ve seen enough. Poor Anita. I sort of feel the expert’s pain, because on paper it should work. But if they’d just looked a little deeper and seen that Paul is one of those blokes completely uneducated with his own emotions. Anita has no time for this. They’ve had ONE episode together and she’s past the end of her tether. It feels irredeemable.

8. Divarni and Julia-Ruth

Again, on paper, a wow. But these two clearly have such different communication styles. Julia-Ruth sees life with such a positive energy and her clash is that Divarni doesn’t – and seems to argue with her in a way she doesn’t like. We can see from the preview of the first dinner party how much these two are really on the rocks. She was literally crying saying she wishes she had someone different.

Just two people with completely different lifestyles and outlooks on the world. The show knew full well that if he said he wasn’t a feminist – even out of a lack of education – that Grace and her mates would come down on it. They have different approaches to affection too. At least things look on the up.

6. Sarah and Dean

Sarah is absolutely vile to Dean in the clips we’ve seen, but the reason they’re not rock bottom is because the experts DID give her what she asked for. She got a man different to her usual bad boy type! So, basically Sarah, let’s get on with it and be a bit more pleasant to the poor lad.

I’m not sure if this will last or what the vibe will be – but I do think both got listened to even if Joe is acting like he hasn’t been. Hard one out of all the MAFS UK 2025 couples because I do think the experts got it right even if I’m not enthused or horrified by their progress.

This one is AGONY because they both got exactly what they asked for. For some reason, Leigh is just not seeing that Leah literally is the masculine-ish but still feminine girl she asked for. By her own admission, Leigh said it was complicated to describe her type but I truly feel out of all the MAFS UK couples in 2025 ranked here the experts tried their best to hit the brief!

3. Bailey and Rebecca

Whilst there was some wedding day frostiness, it was easy for the rest of us to see that Bailey and Rebecca were clearly matched for a reason and hit each other’s brief. It’s a joy to see it thriving right now and that real chemistry fizzling.
