MAFS bride was brutally axed from the show cast just days before filming her wedding

A fitness influencer was meant to be a bride in the upcoming cast of MAFS, but was axed after breaching part of her contract with the show.

Alicia Beveridge was briefly part of the cast of MAFS Australia 2026, but was brutally axed from the lineup after breaking the NDA cast members have with the show. The experiment is filmed months in advance to when it actually airs, and in that time, cast members are legally obliged to keep their participation a secret.

Just days before the show was due to start filming, Alicia was told she was no longer part of the cast. She was set to film her wedding, but then it never happened. The show is currently filming, and will air in the UK and Australia next year. According to reports, Alicia, who is a personal trainer and fitness influencer, had been telling her clients all about the show.

“She was gushing to clients that she was about to walk down the aisle and word even got back to the press,” a source told The Daily Mail. “She was so excited for the show, but forgot she had signed an Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Producers didn’t take kindly to that and decided to cut her and re-cast her at the last minute.”

Alicia has had a huge health update since

Alicia was said to be “devastated” by what happened with MAFS, but quickly returned to her work in fitness. Alicia’s life has since been turned upside down. In the last week, she shared with her 14.7k followers that she’s had to have brain surgery.

“It’s a little too tough on my eyes to film otherwise I would turn up a bit more real and vulnerable,” she said. “I’m going in for brain surgery this morning and have been in hospital for the past few days. I don’t have all the answers yet, but will explain and show up when I can. Royal North Shore hospital team are incredible.”

She hasn’t shared much about what’s going on, but previously explained she had been admitted to intensive care. Alicia has since been sharing well wishes from her friends on her Instagram story.
