MAFS UK’s Rebecca finally addresses ‘dreadful’ way she treated Bailey on their wedding day
She said he wasn’t ‘alpha male’ enough
MAFS UK bride Rebecca was savagely called out on social media for the “dreadful” and “gross” way she treated Bailey on their wedding day, and now she’s responded on TikTok.
She was quick to judge practically every single part of him, saying he wasn’t tall or “alpha male” enough and accusing him of lying about going to the gym. They seem to have miraculously turned things around and are getting on pretty well on the honeymoon, but nobody has forgotten how things started out.
Speaking in a new TikTok video, Rebecca has now slammed the MAFS edit, claiming it’s a show edited for “entertainment purposes” and everything’s not always as it seems.
“One thing that I wanna say as well is when you’re watching the show, just take it all with a pinch of salt. You are watching a reality TV show that is created for entertainment purposes. There are directors and producers and editors, like you’re not watching a documentary. So just take every single stage of it and everything that you see in a light hearted way and just take it all with a pinch of salt,” she said.
“For example, we started filming for my wedding at like 7am in the morning and we finished our bedding down scene, which is like where you go to sleep and you’re in your honeymoon and honeymoon suite, we finished that at like 2am the following morning. So, 20 hours worth of filming and you saw maybe 20 minutes in that episode.”
@becfen Just some thoughts ahead of tonight’s episode…. Tune in at 9pm on e4 to see where we went on our honeymoon! #mafs #mafsuk #e4mafsuk

Rebecca told everyone to be “aware” that you don’t see everything and it’s the show’s job is to “pick out all the best bits”. She claimed they take all the most dramatic and entertaining parts and “put them together,” but “you don’t get to see the majority of how that day or that scene went”.
“So just take everything a little bit lighter before you start forming like huge opinions on people even though yes, it’s great because it keeps up with the engagement for the show and you know you’re being entertained, just be aware when you’re trolling people that you don’t know them and these people have lives and they’re just normal people and you’ve just seen a teeny tiny little part of them on a very overwhelming day.”
“Please just be a little bit more chilled out with it and when you are forming these opinions maybe just take a step back before you decide to throw out some really nasty comments about how someone is or how someone looks cause you don’t know them. At the end of the day, just go on the journey with them and have fun with it because there’s so much more to come.”
