MAFS UK bride Leigh responds to ‘awful’ attitude during honeymoon with Leah in fiery video
‘I’m being done absolutely dirty here’
Leigh from MAFS UK hasn’t made the best first impression with viewers. Her awkward wedding with wife Leah had people cringing, especially as she asked Leah to sleep in a separate bed on their wedding night. After last night’s honeymoon episode, she’s finally addressed the “awful” attitude allegations.
The Essex-based NHS worker told the experts her type is masc women, but not “too” masc, as she still wants to do girly things with her wife. They paired her withe Leah for her self-described masculine energy, which has pushed her away from dating men, as she said they feel threatened by her.
But for Leigh, the attraction just wasn’t there. After an uncomfortable wedding ceremony, their honeymoon did not make things better.

The brides were whisked off to Switzerland for a snowy escape, but had two different ideas of what to do. Leah wanted to lean into the thrill-seeking side of a winter holiday and go skiing, while Leigh wanted to relax. To MAFS viewers, Leigh’s attitude was terrible, and lots of people thought she should have compromised more. She took to social media last night to respond to the backlash.
“I’ve got to just come on here and try back myself because that edit of the honeymoon was f*cking awful,” Leigh said in an Instagram Story. “I’m still in a little bit of shock myself and I’m already getting an abundance of hate.”

When Leah was giving her bride a massage, Leigh was shown constantly complaining, to the point where Leah said she was “being a cow”. Leigh questioned her bride and called her “hard work” because she wasn’t relaxing her.

“That massage scene did not go like that. We were in that massage room for about an hour, we both massaged each other, we were having a laugh. Each of those comments they’ve snipped and shown that I made to Leigh, we were laughing in-between, we were having a joke.”
The 30-year-old claimed she received a bad edit, and loads of lovely moments with her bride were cut out to make the honeymoon look more awkward than it actually was.
“Believe it or not we were getting on a lot better than it looks on screen right now. I just feel like I’m being done absolutely dirty here” she said.
“Yes I am fiery, yes I am blunt, I’ve got a dry sense of humour – that’s who I am.”
