Influencer caught vaping in plane toilet gives weird excuse after viral confrontation mid flight

Kobe Peter Nguyen, the man who went viral after he filmed himself in a heated confrontation with a flight attendant after she caught him vaping in the plane toilet mid flight, has apologised for the whole incident in a new interview. Nguyen, who was caught in the toilet during an American Airlines flight from Phoenix to San Francisco, filmed the whole saga and then it went viral online – where things got heated between him and the flight attendant who caught him out. Nguyen has now given the bizarre excuse for his major outburst that saw tensions escalate fast 35 minutes before the plane was due to land.

Pickleball enthusiast influencer Kobe Peter ‘Twoey King’ Nguyen has gone viral after a video of him in a confrontation with an American Airlines flight attendant circulated rapidly on TikTok. The flight attendant allegedly opened the door on Nguyen whilst he was sat on the toilet and he admitted to vaping – but then the argument kicked off after Nguyen said she touched him. All that you can see in the video is that she tries to get his phone as he records.

Nguyen apologised in the video. “You can keep saying you’re sorry, but I care about all these passengers,” the flight attendant replies. It’s a federal offence to smoke in any way including vaping on a plane – and the toilet has incredibly sensitive sensors to detect smoke and vapour.

The influencer has given an interview apologising and giving his excuse

In a new interview with Fox 5, Nguyen apologised and offers up his reason for what happened. He was asked if he regrets vaping in the plane toilet now the video has gone viral, and he replied “I wish I never picked up a vape to begin with.”

Nguyen explained with 35 minutes left in the two hour flight, he was having nicotine withdrawal. “It sucks knowing in order to be myself, I have to have nicotine,” said Nguyen. “I feel so helpless.” Nguyen said he was embarrassed about the whole ordeal and is now trying to quit vaping. “From the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry to the other passengers,” said Nguyen. “There is no excuse. No excuse for what happened.”

American Airlines officials said he was noted for disruptive behaviour but no police action was taken upon landing. Nguyen has confirmed he hasn’t been fined.
