Rude to fans and paid meet and greets: All the drama around Miley Cyrus right now

Even her most devoted fans are NOT happy

Miley Cyrus isn’t having the most thriving of years right now. Not only has her latest album Something Beautiful been one of her least commercially successful of her entire career, she’s now being hit with allegations of being rude to fans during her paid meet and greet situations promoting the album. This criticism is not just coming from those outside of the Miley Cyrus fandom, but even some of the more devoted Smilers who were left unhappy with the situation which saw Miley and Naomi Campbell signing records for fans. The videos have been going viral, as well as a video of a certain someone blasting artists who do paid meet and greets. Here’s all you need to know about why Miley Cyrus is getting dragged for being rude to fans right now.

The signing with Naomi Campbell

Miley Cyrus and Naomi Campbell have a song together on her new album Something Beautiful, titled Everything You’ve Ever Loved. The pair were signing copies of the record with their faces on in a limited edition release, and fans could attend and get a picture with the two of them behind the signing table.

A video went viral that has actually since been deleted after the heat on Miley really increased, and it showed the pair of them looking relatively disinterested as the line of fans came in and out to get the record signed and get a pic with the idols.

One of the videos shows Miley Cyrus and Naomi Campbell seemingly in conversation with each other rather than the fan who is waiting for the meet and greet.

A wider video however, shows that Miley Cyrus did address the fan more directly and the two of them chatted. Naomi is admittedly giving very little – but I don’t think any fan is there to meet her to be fair.

A video of Matty Healy bashing meet and greets has resurfaced

Because of all the drama around the Miley Cyrus being rude to a fan at the meet and greet, as well as ones criticising Chris Brown for his, an old video of Matty Healy blasting people who do paid ones has resurfaced. Even the most hardline Matty Healy haters have had to concede that he definitely has a point.

In the resurfaced video, Matty says “Tell you what, if you want to do paid meet and greets – do them. But you take the money. If you’re an artist doing paid meet and greets, do it cash and YOU take the money off the fan. I challenge you to do that. Don’t put it on the label, don’t put it on the record company, don’t put the responsibility on someone else. It’s absolutely f*cking gross.

“You’ll do it for two minutes. Because you’ll realise it’s absolutely f*cking disgraceful.”
