Guys, Miley Cyrus just shaded JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes and I am honestly shaking

If you thought it was enough of a fever dream that Love Island legend Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa became friends on Celebrity Big Brother, then you had a storm coming. Their intense friendship has now blossomed into a romantic one that JoJo herself has confirmed is no longer platonic – and then we got the utter TikTok gift that is what JoJo decided to do on stage the other week. When covering the absolute classic Bette Davis Eyes, she changed the lyrics to Chris Hughes’ Eyes and everyone obviously lost their minds. Especially Chris, who looked chuffed as chips at the tribute. It’s apparently not just us in the UK hooked on this saga though, because now the maddest thing has happened: Miley Cyrus just shaded JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes on a huge platform and everyone’s losing their minds about it.

Speaking in a video message at World Pride in the US, Miley Cyrus sent her support to the community – of which she’s a proud member. But she did so with some very lighthearted Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa shade – with Miley Cyrus going instantly viral because of it. In the clip, Miley emerges from a closet and says “Oh my god, I haven’t been in there since the sixth grade. Enjoy coming out of the closet if this Pride is the time for you. It’s Miley, I just wanna tell you have an amazing World Pride. It’s a month? It should be a year, it should be infinite.”

Miley then goes to shut the closet door and go back in, and she says “Alright I’m going back in to find more pretzels, and find JoJo Siwa and bring her back out.” The crowd goes absolutely WILD – and honestly? Same.

Miley Cyrus’ humorous clip is a nod to how JoJo Siwa had previously stated she wasn’t dating men anymore – before entering her now romantic relationship with Chris Hughes. It’s all done with love though, because sexuality is a spectrum and like JoJo Miley too dates both men and women.
