People are clocking the real reason Helena has no grounds to be annoyed on Love Island

Love Island 2025 is the best season we’ve had in god knows how long, and if you ever needed further proof of that which isn’t me pontificating about it then look no further than last night’s episode. The greatest writers in the entertainment industry would struggle to pen a saga as perfect as last night’s. It really had it all. Sneaking around snogs, big arguments, paranoia and a game that exploded in mayhem. Just wonderful. But at the centre of it all is Helena, the OG Islander who is absolutely livid at Harry and Yasmin for their (three) snogs in the hideaway and the quotes that the pair of them had said which all came out in the game. Whilst another Islander might be justified in their fury and upset, people are clocking Helena for the real reason she actually has no grounds at all to be annoyed in this Love Island mayhem.

Here’s why she actually has absolutely no leg to stand on.

Helena is the biggest hypocrite because of this reason

Helena is currently furious at Harry and Yasmin in Love Island because the pair of them have been flirting heavily behind her back, and last night we saw them level that up in the hideaway. Fair enough, it’s upsetting – but the real reason Helena has no grounds to be annoyed is because her Love Island behaviour has been the EXACT same. And if we’re being real, she got off very lightly for it.

You lose them how you get them, Helena deserved everything she got. The same hideaway she went to with Harry is where she got played by the same guy.

It seems ages ago right now, but lest we forget that Helena and Harry started because Helena was more than willing to sneak off with Harry to the hideaway in the middle of the night whilst he was coupled up with Shakira. And arguably, was even more disrespectful in the way she carried that out than Yasmin ever had been.

The streets don’t forget the hypocrisy of Helena, even though it seems like she clearly has forgotten herself.

Play with fire you’re gonna get burned, and whilst I love Harry from a good TV perspective he’s clearly a loose cannon with only loyalties to himself. Helena needs to wise up.
