From kebabs to dirty fries: These are Lincoln’s best post night out takeaways

We’re forever leaving the club early to get a pizza

When your feet are sore from dancing all night and your head is spinning from one too many Jaegers, nothing quite quenches the post club thirst like a greasy kebab or extremely cheesy pizza.

Many Friday nights have been spent walking back down High Street, with a pair of heels in one hand and a tray of chips in the other.

But with a whole range of  takeaway options on offer in Lincoln, which ones are really the best? Here are our top five recommendations:

1. Lazzari’s

There are so many amazing kebab shops in Lincoln – which deserves an entire list to itself! If we have to choose only one, of course the crown goes to the one and only Lazzari’s.

Being right next door to Trebles and only a short walk away from Home, Lazzari’s always has Lincoln club-goers queueing out the door every weekend to get their hands on the perfect cure after a night out.

Whether it’s a kebab, loaded to the heavens with salad and sauce, a pizza covered in stringy cheese, or simply a piping hot tray of chips, Lazzari’s will have you coming back for more!

It truly has our heart.

2. Stack Street Food

Forget leaving the club to get food, why not enjoy your food from the comfort of the club?

Stack’s many street food vendors mean that visitors can enjoy their post-club treat whilst still in the venue. With options including The Cheesy Pig, Zza Pizzeria, Bao Down and many more, Stack offers a wide variety of food choices to suit everyone’s taste buds.

This is the true definition of dinner and a show!

3. Snacc

For those of you with a sweet tooth, Snacc has got your back.

Perfectly placed next door to the iconic Scene, Snacc not only offers savoury delights such as a Yorkshire pudding wrap, bangers and mash and breakfast rolls, they also serve desserts, including, ice cream, sponge puddings and even Tango Iceblasts.

Open until 7am, Snacc will satisfy your random cravings all through the night.

We know you’re obsessed with sweet treats just as much as we are!

4. Hunters Fish and Chips

Right in the middle of High Street, where Lincoln’s night life comes alive, Hunter’s Fish and Chips has customers craving their food every weekend.

This takeaway has a traditional feel to it, serving a classic chippy menu such as fish, battered sausage and proper chunky chips. However, we their stand out item is definitely their doughy pizzas that are packed with toppings and great value for money!

There’s nothing more nostalgic than a salty cone of chips.

5. McDonald’s

For those nights when you’re all out of options and just want some familiar comfort in the form of a chicken nugget, there is nothing better than a cheeky Maccies.

Luckily after a night out in Lincoln, we have two McDonalds’ nearby, with both the one on High Street and the one on Ruston Way open 24 hours a day, meaning you can even grab a McMuffin and hash brown after a night out (or should we say morning) at Scene.

Before you know it you will have enough McDonalds points to get yourself a free burger, and free food is always the best kind of food!
