MAFS’ Jacqui finally reveals exactly what she studied at uni, after her long list of talents

MAFS Australia’s Jacqui claims to have all kinds of jobs and talents, including working in law, finance, modelling, being a certified yoga instructor and running her own jewellery business – but what is she actually trained in?!

Well, the 29-year-old has finally revealed what she studied at uni and delved into her specific field of expertise, and it turns out her degree is in both finance and law.

“So I did a degree in finance and law at the University of Auckland. My business major was finance and then my specialisations were mainly around commercial law and litigation,” she said on TikTok.

After graduating, the bride became a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand and joined a commercial litigation team. At the time, she also worked as a teaching assistant at a law school, teaching about trusts and equity.

“So I basically specialise in equity law and when I did my degree, I got honours in law and I did it in unjust enrichment and restitution, which is a litigation topic,”
she explained.

Unless you’re clued up in the law world, all those legal terms probably make zero sense to you, but all you really need to know is she’s a trained lawyer first and foremost, and she specialises in financial law.

“I actually got first-class honours in law, which is why I ended up going down the litigation pathway. Then, when I moved to Australia, I got admitted in Australia as well and then went into investment law,” Jacqui added.

However, Jacqui seems to have quit working as a lawyer for now at least, and is now running a jewellery business called Jacqueline Lee Jewellery which she seems to have started around the same time MAFS started airing.
