Inside Jacqui’s real flat that was deemed ‘too small’ and ‘messy’ to film MAFS Australia

The secret is out that the flat Jacqui and Ryan visited for the MAFS Australia homestays was actually a fake. The producers hired out a AU$200 (£96) a night Air BnB instead, and the pair had to pretend Jacqui really lived there. Jacqui claimed on her Instagram that she didn’t want MAFS Australia to be filmed in her real flat for security. Alternatively, a production insider told Daily Mail Australia that Jacqui’s flat was “too small” for the crew to film in. They said: “She had roommates living at her house and it was in a messy state, and she didn’t feel comfortable with it. Her real bedroom was tiny, and the camera crew couldn’t fit in her apartment. Her roommates’ stuff was everywhere and they would’ve had to be asked to leave for filming.”

Jacqui lives in Manly

This is a spenny suburb of Sydney right by the sea. This video shows the flat had a cute terrace with a view of palm trees, where the girls dried their laundry and posed for pictures.

Jacqui’s bedroom wasn’t especially large. She had a double bed, a wardrobe and a small table for doing her hair. The window overlooked the driveway.

Not long after Jacqui finished filming MAFS, she move into Clint’s mansion in Tasmania. His home is super swanky. The house has a tennis court, a putting green, a gym, a bar, a home theatre and a golf simulator. I don’t even get what a golf simulator is.
