Amy Kenyon gets cosmetic surgery after her looks on MAFS UK were called ‘fake’

Amy Kenyon from MAFS UK was criticised so much for her appearance on TV that she flew to Turkey to get cosmetic surgery.

She says she was trolled to much for her looks, that her self-esteem plummeted. Amy decided to get cosmetic surgery to boost her confidence after her MAFS UK appearance.

Amy told The Sun: “Every time I went online I kept seeing screenshots of myself on TV. During MAFS, I had really big lips and when I was on TV, I was getting trolled. Everyone was calling me fake, saying really nasty things about me, calling me a man, saying I look 60.

“My insecurities are just through the roof. I’m so sad. It’s been very rough. On just one post I had more than three hundred people just saying absolutely disgusting things about me, going in about my jaw. I’ve got no filler in my jaw, what can I do about it? when I saw that, it just sort of made me feel like I need to do something about this.”

Amy had her lip filler dissolved before appearing on the MAFS UK reunion, and went to the event “natural”. But she still saw lots of negative comments about her appearance, so decided to change it.

She went to the Phoenix Clinic in Istanbul for cosmetic surgery. She had canthopexy – a procedure which tightens the outer corner of your eye. The surgery can alter the shape of your eye, and reduce bags under your eye.

Amy also had new breast implants fitted. She shared on Instagram that she had Allergan implants fitted in 2015. The product was recalled in 2019 due to health risks. So, she had her breast implants redone.

Amy hopes her eye shape will stop people from being so negative about her appearance. If the backlash continues, she plans to get an implant in her chin.
