Amy just addressed the rumours about if she’s dating Adam after the MAFS UK reunion

The nation is still deeply confused about what exactly is going on between Adam Nightingale and Amy Kenyon. Amy has had to release another statement about her relationship with Adam after the juicy new MAFS UK reunion.

Although Amy and Adam expressed no romantic interest in each other during the show, as soon as MAFS UK wrapped they were all over each other’s social media. The pair have been on big nights out together. In December, they made a TikTok video… from bed. A month ago, they went on an eight-day-long romantic cruise from Miami to Bimini together. Seriously.

Amy and Adam’s potential romantic vibe was a big theme of the MAFS UK reunion. The other contestants interrogated them about if they were dating. Adam literally had to read out the honesty box question: “Amy, why do you think people are so keen to see us become a couple?” Amy explained, “I think it’s because we bring out the best in each other. We bounce off each other, and we have an amazing friendship. We’re always laughing. You care about my feelings, I care about yours, and we just support each other through everything.” Awwww.

Adam made some cheeky comments about their friendship, joking, “There’s been no kissing…so far.”  He also said: “Maybe some little mini Adams could be on the cards? Or maybe we could just practice.” It’s unclear whether he was just joking about the rumoured romance, or if he genuinely thinks he has a shot with Amy. I’d believe both.

Amy was a bit less forward, and admitted she didn’t know whether she fancied Adam or not. (Girl, that probably means you don’t.)

We know this reunion was filmed in November. Now it’s aired, Amy has felt the need to address once again exactly where she’s at with Adam.

She wrote during an Instagram Q&A that the pair are “still close” and “still have lots of love for each other.” She added: “Forever grateful to have him in my life and I’m sure we’ll have each other’s backs forever. One of the only people I can trust with my life.”

Someone asked Amy, “Is there a romantic future for you and Adam? Please answer on behalf of the nation.” Amy responded: “Just a really amazing friendship. Sorry to disappoint you all.”

So, it looks like Amy and Adam haven’t taken their friendship to the next level after the MAFS reunion was filmed. If anything, Adam seems to be more in the friendzone now than he was in November, when Amy was telling the cameras she wasn’t sure whether she fancied him. Case closed.
