Applications are now open for The Cardiff Tab’s 2025/26 editorial team
We’re handing over the reigns to a brand new team. Could you be one of our editors?
The Cardiff Tab is officially opening applications for its 2025/26 editorial team, and we’re looking for a fresh new group of students to take the lead.
As all of our current editorial team are graduating, we’re recruiting for the roles of Editor in Chief, News Editor, Features Editor, Social Media Editor and TikTok Editor. Whether you’re interested in breaking news, writing features, or creating content for socials, this is your chance to shape the next year of The Cardiff Tab.
You don’t need to have loads of experience, you just be a student at a university in South Wales who’s keen to get stuck into journalism. Training and support will be provided by experienced journalists at The Tab HQ, so you’ll be guided every step of the way.
All we ask is that you’re able to attend and help run weekly meetings in Cathays.
Holding an editorial role for The Cardiff Tab is a fantastic opportunity, offering invaluable journalism experience that can open many doors, and looks great on your CV.
You’ll also get the chance to write articles for our national site which attracts around nine million views per month, attend fun events with other Tab teams at our HQ in London, as well as receive training from qualified journalists.
So, if you’re ready to build your skills, grow your portfolio and be part of a team making real impact on campus, we’d love to hear from you.
The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday 17th April at 23:59, so don’t miss it!
