MAFS Australia’s Carina speaks out after Paul punches wall and shockingly blames herself

MAFS Australia groom Paul is being investigated by the police after he punched a wall, and Carina has spoken out about the incident.

It all started when they were on their way home from a date with Rhi and Jeff, and Carina admitted that she’d slept with the rapper who was playing on the radio.

Paul got very angry and ended up punching a wall in their apartment, and then told everyone what he had done at the Dinner Party.

Speaking out about the situation on the MAFS Funny podcast, Carina shockingly said that she should never have made the rapper comment in the first place.

“There’s like a bit of backstory behind what actually happened. That led up to the incident. Yeah. Maybe I shouldn’t have said what I said,” she said.

Carina claimed the “backstory” was explained “all off camera” and there was more to the story that we didn’t see on the show.

“Still, like nothing you did or said would justify that reaction. And that’s kind of the thing that’s upsetting people seeing you almost trying to justify it,” the podcast host replied.

“Yeah. I think I was just so overwhelmed. I was still in shock,” Carina responded.

“It made me sad hearing Carina still questioning herself that maybe she shouldn’t have said what she said about sleeping with the rapper they hit on the radio,” the host then added.

“I just wanted to be like, Carina, no, and just try to make her see that the only person to blame for Paul punching the door like that is Paul.”

Carina went on to speak about how great the producers were at that time, saying they had a real “duty of care” and “checked in” on her.

“They were very precautious. They sat both of us down and they made sure like, are you both okay? Are you both safe?” the 31-year-old revealed.

“I understand from everyone’s point of view, everyone will always have their view, everyone will always have their opinion. But at the end of the day, I felt safe.”
