Um, so it’s been claimed MAFS Australia 2025 was ‘ended early’ amid ‘off-camera chaos’

It’s been claimed Channel Nine made the shock decision and ended MAFS Australia 2025 early, due to huge chaos going on behind the scenes. This season has been messy for sure, but now it looks messier than ever.

We’re a bit behind with the viewing schedule in the UK, but over in Australia things are wrapping up in the experiment. And people have noticed a few key parts of the final episodes have been missed out. The honesty box challenge was nowhere to be seen, final dates didn’t happen, and people noted the final vows felt rushed and edited.

Well, now Daily Mail Australia has said this was a choice made by the channel. The publication has said Nine allegedly “just wanted it off air ASAP”. This is said to have been because of “weeks of behind-the-scenes drama and contestant meltdowns.”

A source said: “The cast have just gone too rogue. It’s like producers lost control and wanted to get the show off air before it got worse. They’re done taking responsibility for the cast and at this point none of them will be invited to the Logies.”

There have been reports of cast members going rogue, posting statements about the show, refusing to film the reunion and clapping back at edits. Jacqui and Ryan are currently locked in a legal battle, and there have been police investigations into the show this series. That goes without mentioning that Adrian faced domestic violence charges before the show.

However, other sources close to the show told the publication the rumours were nothing more than that. “This year’s season was actually one of the longest,’ an insider revealed. The 2025 series had 40 episodes in total.

The insider continued: “Last year, we only had 38 episodes and in 2023 there were just 36. The last time we hit 40 episodes was back in season six in 2019. So this idea that Nine ‘cut it early’ is just not true.”
