Hang on, Charlotte just revealed this iconic viral The Traitors moment was her own genius idea

Charlotte was a bit of a dark horse on The Traitors 2025. Her early days as a Faithful were of course defined by her bewildering albeit iconic decision to play the game with a Welsh accent. In the early days of the game, it did not look like she was going to last long – but that all transformed when Minah made her grave error of recruiting Charlotte as a Traitor who eventually got rid of her and nearly won the whole prize pot. But one of the most defining moments of Charlotte on The Traitors 2025 was the very camp, very iconic viral shot of her reading a how to speak Welsh book in bed. And now she just revealed that she actually came up with it HERSELF?

The moment

You know those little cutaways when the Traitors are discussing which Faithful is going to get murdered? Some of these camp little chill out moments are the most legendary of the season. Who can forget Freddie naked in the shower? Nobody. Absolutely nobody.

But it was Charlotte reading a book on how to learn Welsh that really made everyone howl, and most people thought it ws the production of the show playing silly beggars. Turns out, she was producing herself!

Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK with Frankie, Charlotte says “Everyone needs to know it was my idea for the Learn Welsh book! And I loved it. I was like, what if there’s a book out there that’s like Welsh For Dummies. I got it off Amazon. I had my friend order it off Amazon Prime cause I needed it in time for filming!”

Charlotte then confirms that despite the book going viral on The Traitors, the author has alas not contacted her about the free promo she got on one of the countries most beloved and watched TV shows. Gutted.
