Why Leanne from The Traitors still hasn’t got a penny of her winnings six months later
She won half of the £94,600 prize pot
After winning The Traitors alongside Jake Brown, Leanne Quigley has shockingly revealed that she hasn’t seen any of the money yet.
During an appearance on This Morning, Ben Shephard asked if she’s got her share of the £94,600 prize pot and she said: “No, not yet, not yet!”
The show was filmed in July 2024, so why hasn’t she got any of her money yet? Well, it’s because they have to wait until after the show airs.
In all competition shows, the winner doesn’t get the prize money until all the episodes have aired on TV, so Jake won’t have his share yet either.
This is mainly down to logistical and legal reasons, but also to make sure it’s not obvious who won when you look at their social media profiles.
Having no idea who won helps to maintain the dramatic tension of the competition on screen and ensures nothing is ruined.
“Well, of course, I mentioned that I would like to have another baby. I’d love to try for IVF again and give my little boys a little sibling,” she said.
She went into labour at just 26 weeks old in January 2023 and the babies spent the first three months of their lives in intensive care.
“Also, we’ve got a wedding to plan now! I got engaged back in August, which is just the best feeling,” Leanne added.
They haven’t set a date yet but want to get planning as soon as possible, and one venue option is the iconic Traitors castle.

“I actually looked at the castle because I didn’t realise you could get married there. That would be so iconic. I would actually love that,” she told the MailOnline.
The 28-year-old also wants to “treat her family” because they’ve been through a pretty tough year.
Her partner Sophie was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer just weeks after Leanne got home from filming The Traitors but is thankfully now cancer-free.
