One year on from betrayal: Are Harry and Mollie from The Traitors mates or beefing?

With The Traitors 2025 wrapping up on Friday in a far more faithful victory than its predecessor, the world has been casting its collective mind back to The Traitors 2024 and its brutal and crushing ending. I mean, not for Harry of course – who played a blinding if cold game as a Traitor and won 95K for it. But it was so hard to watch Mollie Pearce, who came second and beared the brunt of this massive betrayal, realise the friendship she’d held so close had been centred around a very costly lie. Harry and Mollie continued just after the show doing press and saying it was all a game and that the dust had settled and they were of course still friends – but now one year on from The Traitors season two things have NOT been plain sailing.

Here’s a rundown of the current status of Harry and Mollie and their friendship after The Traitors, and it ain’t all sunshine and roses.

Just after the show, things seemed good

The emotional betrayal on the show saw Mollie visibly gutted, and storming out of the finale room with absolute heartbreak in her eyes. But by the time the two of them were doing the press circuit after the show, it looked like things were all good.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast after losing, Mollie said Harry had “promised me a holiday, and I’m pretty happy with that. It was a game and at the end of the day, we all sign up for it. You go in with the chance of getting hurt so it’s all good vibes here.

Harry himself explained his brutal lying ways, saying “I just had the mentality that I wanted to get the job done, I had to put connections and emotions to one side and I had to put my family at the forefront. The first couple of days I was struggling – I was building relationships out of lies.”

Happier times

The unfollowing saga 

In the summer of last year, there was a big drama where Charlotte from The Traitors season two revealed that she was having Conor Maynard’s baby. This links to Harry a bit, because his girlfriend Anna is Conor Maynard’s sister. Bizarre connection, but we’re rolling with it.

Amid that, it was reported that Harry and Mollie had unfollowed each other on Instagram – which seemed wild considering after the show their friendship had seemingly endured.

Mollie reveals a second betrayal, regarding that promised holiday

Mollie Pearce is currently competing on Dancing On Ice, and because of that has obviously been doing a fair bit of press regarding it. When she was asked if Harry ever got her the holiday he said he’d take her on after winning the prize money, Mollie explained that he didn’t actually follow through with it at all.

Mollie told MailOnline: “It didn’t… but I never held him to it. It’s his money, do you know what I mean? I can pay for my own holidays. It is what it is, but I can definitely sort myself out.”
