Love Island’s Tasha’s mum appears to confirm reason behind shocking Andrew split

Tasha Ghouri’s mum has appeared to confirm the reason her daughter and Love Island boyfriend Andrew Le Page split up. It was revealed earlier this month that the Islander favs had broken up, after two and a half years together.

The couple met on Love Island 2022, and had been together ever since. They moved in together, and share a dog. When the couple first split it was said they had “hit a rocky patch” and decided to end things whilst Tasha was on Strictly. Then, more details about Tasha’s changing opinions on wanting children were reported on.

It now appears Tasha’s mum, Nicky Young, has given some clues about what’s really going on. People have noticed she’s been engaging with comments on socials, all about breakups.

One comment she reportedly liked said: “Sometimes relationships just don’t work out. We’re not in their lives so we don’t know the reasons. Sometimes people can just outgrow each other or not be as driven or want different out of life and much more. They can try to keep it together but then it can be much worse.”

Earlier this month, a source told The Sun: “Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly. She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by.

“Now she’s going off on tour she’s going to be away from Andrew again. They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she’s pretty much heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman.” A friend close to Tasha confirmed the pair had “hit a rocky patch.”

As it stands, Tasha and Andrew have not commented on any reason behind the split.
