What is First Dates?

For those who have been living under a rock, First Dates pairs strangers together for a blind date at a chic restaurant. The catch is that it’s all filmed for TV so you’ll have to try and keep awkward moments to a minimum (for your own sake).

With the iconic Fred Sirieix and his charming team ensuring a smooth evening, you’ll have a chance to sit down, sip on a drink, and (hopefully) spark a romantic connection.

The show has a knack for matching people with genuinely good chemistry, and who knows? You might find yourself walking out with butterflies – or at the very least, a great story to tell your mates.

When and where is it filming?

The First Dates team is heading to their stunning restaurant in Bath for filming, which will take place from mid-March to the end of March. If you’re chosen, you’ll get the opportunity to wine and dine in one of the UK’s most iconic dating locations, with cameras rolling to capture every moment.

 The First Dates producers are in the early stages of casting and eager to spotlight singles from Sheffield and surrounding areas. They’re after people of all ages, backgrounds, and personalities – whether you’re a hopeless romantic, a serial dater, or a complete newbie to the dating scene.
