Whose engagement ring cost the most out of Zendaya, Hailey Bieber & Selena Gomez?

If there’s a surefire way to see who is the best hubby out of Benny Blanco, Justin Bieber, and Tom Holland, it’s by figuring out the prices of their engagement rings to Selena Gomez, Zendaya, and Hailey Bieber.

From Selena Gomez’s gushy comments to Tom Holland and Zendaya being Hollywood’s IT couple, there’s just way too much love in the air. I’m definitely not bitter, but I too would like a massive rock. Before I set out to find my man and trick him into proposing, let’s have a look at the prices of Hollywood’s biggest engagement rings so I know what I’m aiming for.

We will start with Zendaya since she is the most recent bride-to-be, kinda. You see, while rumours are rife and she seems to be waving the rock around in front of every available camera, neither Tom nor Zendaya have issued an official announcement. Instead, we are forced to rely on the word of “trusted” sources.

Nonetheless, should the rumours be true, then jewellery experts have estimated its worth to be between $120,000 and $500,000.

Ella Citron-Thompkins, Jewellery Expert at Diamonds Factory, told HELLO: “Zendaya’s ring appears to feature a prominent cushion-cut diamond as the centre stone, combining vintage charm and modern brilliance. The setting also appears to be a simple four-prong setting, allowing the sparkling diamond to be the focal point. The white and yellow gold is a beautiful choice, again allowing the seemingly high-carat diamond to shine. The ring is truly a timeless piece.”

“The diamond appears to be of excellent quality, likely VVS clarity and near-colorless (D-F), which would place the ring’s value at approximately £300,000-£400,000 ($370,000-$500,000), depending on whether it is natural or lab-grown,” added Laura Taylor from Lorel Diamonds.

After some eagle-eyed social media addicts combed through Zendaya’s Instagram, they found what they believed to be the ring in question. She had liked the picture two years ago, and naturally, people love how aware of her likes and dislikes Tom is.

Okay, but what about Selena Gomez’s rock?

After months of rumours, Selena Gomez confirmed speculation last month when she announced her engagement to fellow songwriter Benny Blanco. Though this meant a Gomez and Bieber rekindling went up in flames, we’re all super happy for her. Now, enough mush – let’s see how much Benny really loves her.

Though some have estimated its sparkly value at somewhere between $200,000 and $500,000, Lorel Diamonds’ Laura Taylor told the MailOnline that it’s more than likely much more lavish.

“Benny’s choice of engagement ring for Selena is an exquisite and timeless design, perfectly suited to her style. The ring features an incredible marquise-cut diamond at its centre, estimated to be around eight carats, set on a yellow gold pavé band,” she said. “The marquise cut, with its elongated and pointed shape, is a statement choice, known for its brilliance and the way it elongates the finger, creating a striking and elegant look.”

With its “VVS1 clarity” and “colourless grading in the D-F range”, she suggested it could be upwards of $1 million depending on the specific diamond qualities.

I’m not saying that Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber are in direct competition: But whose side of the imaginary feud are we on? Hailey and Justin announced the engagement in July 2018 – two months after his final split from Selena – with him writing “I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else” on Instagram. They were married just two months later in a New York City ceremony.

In very much an eye-roll moment, Hailey had not one, not two, but three different engagement rings. The first, an 18-carat Solow & Co engagement ring, was priced at $400,000 and the second at $15,000. Like, what was even the point of the second one? In May of this year, she received yet another one from the Biebs, this time priced at a staggering $1.5 million.

Of course, I can’t say which groom loves their bride the most based only on their engagement rings – but I’m going to do it anyway. Unfortunately, it looks like the winners are Hailey and Justin, but if you ask me they cheated by purchasing the once-in-a-lifetime piece of jewellery three times.
