Inside Tom Holland’s super low-key proposal to Zendaya that happened at home

Tom Holland and Zendaya are reportedly engaged, and it actually seems to be for real this time! 

There have been loads of engagement rumours over the years, but she just stepped out with a super obvious diamond ring on her left finger at the Golden Globes. 

The Dune actress posed in a beautiful burnt-orange Louis Vuitton gown with her hands on her stomach, putting the huge rock on full display.

Neither of them has spoken out about the proposal yet, but lots of details have now surfaced online revealing exactly how he popped the question.

A source told TMZ it was super intimate and low-key, with Tom getting down on one knee at one of her family houses between Christmas and New Year. 

It wasn’t a big, over-the-top proposal, just a small, romantic moment between the two of them with no other people there. 

The insider said they’re not going to rush into wedding planning either, because they’ve both got a lot of Hollywood projects coming up that they need to focus on.

Another source told the MailOnline the Spider-Man actor took an “old-fashioned” approach and even asked her dad for permission before asking her to marry him.

“The proposal was sweet and romantic and happened over the holidays,” they said. “He did it the old-fashioned way and got permission from her folks. Everyone is thrilled.”

They added that Zendaya and Tom are a “normal couple at home” and “she is ready to spend her life with him”.

“She has gotten everything she dreamed of and marrying Tom and starting a family is next on her list.”

The happy couple have been romantically linked since 2017, but the relationship wasn’t confirmed until 2021 when they were pictured kissing in a car in Los Angeles.

They’ve always kept their relationship really private and rarely post about each other on social media, and it looks like they’re doing the same with the proposal.
