Bvlgari drops huge hint that Zendaya’s Golden Globes ring is actually an engagement ring
What a way to hard launch
Zendaya put everyone on the planet to shame last night when she rocked up at the Golden Globes. She wore a stunning dress, but it was almost impossible to miss the huge statement rings on both her right – and LEFT – hands. She was sporting a lot of Bvlgari jewellery since she’s a brand ambassador for them, but there was one very important detail that might have given away the true meaning behind the ring. Was Zendaya’s Golden Globes ring really in fact an engagement ring?! Here’s what we know.
The huge hint that Bvlgari gave away
Zendaya took everyone’s breath away wearing a Bvlgari necklace, earrings and ring on her right hand. However, the ring on her left hand was not in the Bvlgari press release which labelled all of the jewellery she’d had on.
On Instagram, Bvlgari wrote: “@zendaya exudes elegance at the 82nd Golden Globe awards in Los Angeles, wearing a Bvlgari High Jewelry necklace with an oval paraiba tourmaline and 48 carats of diamonds, paired with a matching ring and earrings.” Notice how it’s ring singular and not ring plural?
If you don’t know, when you’re a brand ambassador you’re basically allowed to wear any products of the brand, but you might get in trouble if you wear another brand (especially simultaneously). She definitely would have had a conversation with her team about wearing this mysterious ring on her left hand which wasn’t Bvlgari and could potentially endanger her contract with them.
